"Change: It starts with you"
What is change? Change is a challenging process that unfolds
slowly and involves risks, failures, and criticism. Often, it is the fear of
these factors that hinders people from taking the first step towards change.
This initial step is the most difficult and intimidating because it requires
vulnerability. However, it also presents opportunities for freedom and
significant possibilities. Change is naturally uncomfortable and not meant to be
easy; if it were, everyone would embrace it.
While we intellectually acknowledge the value of change, we often struggle when it comes to personally initiating change. If I desire to change my life, it must begin with me—not relying or expecting others to change. As Gandhi famously stated, "Be the change you want to see in the world," and this is indeed challenging. The most significant change often needs to occur in our perception of how the world treats us. The journey of change begins with self-awareness and By taking responsibility for our actions, embracing personal growth, and leading by example, we become the driving force behind positive change.
In conclusion, change is never comfortable, and it is never
easy. If we desire change, it must originate from within ourselves. "Be
the change you want to see in the world." If we aspire to improve our
world, it is not enough to expect others to change; we must also be willing to
change. To achieve something better, the obligation is on us to initiate the
change. We cannot just rely on others to change; we must take responsibility
for the change we seek. Change starts within each of us, and together, we can
create a brighter future.
